Rob McFerren, Co-owner of Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co, recently
won 4 medals for his handcrafted ales at the 2006 LA County Fair Microbrew
Competition.
McFerren won the awards in competition with over 200 beers from all
over the country.
He received 3 silver awards for his Howlin’ Heffeweizen , Hot Rod
Double IPA and Golden Eagle Ale. He earned a bronze award for his Wolfbeir
Saison (Belgian farmhouse ale).
McFerren, along with his wife Laina, have owned Wolf Creek for almost
10 years. They will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary of the
restaurant in March.
Many of McFerren’s beers are available for tasting at the LA County
fair through Oct. 1. They are also available on tap at their restaurant
while supplies last.
